Epson further enhances the service spectrum of the mobile Epson TM-P60 thermal printer with three different devices - the receipt printer Epson TM-P60 WLAN, TM-P60 Bluetooth and the label printer TM-P60 Peeler which were launched in December 2005. Hence, the areas of application of the multi-purpose wireless printer are further extended.  WLAN and Bluetooth enabled versions ensure save connection of the TM-P60 to the existing cash register or IT systems.  Thus guests can save time and the toing and froing of staff is reduced. The entire cash register process can be implemented ”on-site“. Furthermore, the Epson TM-P60 Peeler enables easy labelling of items, packages and more.  Following printing the device peels off labels automatically which can then be easily attached - protecting both fingernails and nerves.

Epson finally gives free rein to the Point of Sale with the WLAN and the new Bluetooth version. Whether restaurants, drive-in counters, sports and event halls or theatre and cinema foyers: The Point-of-Sale is available where needed thanks to the mobile Epson TM-P60 as the mobile printer can simply be integrated in existing cash register application or is combined with a PDA. However, not only the Point of Sale experiences renaissance of mobile freedom. The Epson TM-P60 features entirely new options with regard to services:  Coupon and discount promotions are highly flexible and can be used on the entire sales area thus reaching even more clients.  Heating, electricity and water meter-readers can operate very flexible in future by using a PDA incl. suitable software and the Epson TM-P60. Delivery and parcel services will be able to enhance their services with the Epson TM-P60 and simultaneously facilitate the staff’s tasks.  The Epson multi-purpose printer makes this possible.

Even in industrial environments the Epson TM-P60 provides impressive prints thanks to its stability and innovative potential. The Epson TM-P60 Peeler prints labels and the peeler function of the mobile thermal printer simultaneously peels off the labels automatically if required. As a special characteristic, the thermal printer with handy belt pouch is equipped with an integrated automatic receipt cutter.  This is a unique feature in wireless devices.  It guarantees easy one-handed receipt removal and neat cutting edges. Furthermore, the Epson TM-P60 is extremely robust:  It can withstand falls of up to 120 cm and is spray and dust resistant. Thus it is suitable for application in industry or outdoors. Here the Epson TM-P60 can demonstrate its capabilities: One recharge of the Lithium ion battery is sufficient for printing approx 250 receipts, labels or vouchers.  As time is money it prints at a speed of up to 80mm/s thus ensuring smooth operation.
