Gear assembly
The equipment places various components in automobile steering column gears and then carries out quality inspections.
The challenge for this equipment is to synchronise various sequential work stages so that the extremely tight cycle times demanded can be kept to. Here, two Epson Scara robots type EL853S are in use, which are suitable for component assembly due to their extraordinary arm geometry.
