Solution:

During the automated manufacture of illuminants, the product components to be processed are brought to the machine-assembly area in pallets. These are two distinctive product components which are positioned on two separate pallets at different machine areas for pick-up. The product components are picked up from the pallets, joined together and then inserted in a subsequent machine for further processing. Owing to the customer requirements with regard to cycle times and repeat accuracy it was necessary to employ highly dynamic, high-precision handling components. Consequently, the decision was made to use two Type H 804 BL SCARA robots. These systems are absolutely predestined for this application by virtue of their drives and their control characteristics.
